for the record, i RFB IRL in my manual car (lfb feels so weird and unsafe) but in LFS LFB feels so right with my momo pedals.

you had to "drive" around what i would discribe as a rollercoaster type track, which had large gaps in.
you had to time your jumping and landing just right, great fun and at the time amazing sounds/graphics and gameplay.

only problem with 4.0 is...........
it says its the usb version, when my wheel is serial port.

Im using an old Microsoft sidewinder steering wheel.
its connected by a serial port connection, not USB.
it has the same FF button and power supply, but i have no FF even if i select it in the game.
any help to get the Fantastic Force Feedback Feeling?

ive owned 4 fords and they have been pretty damn reliable.
ive got a 2.0 mondeo (stop laughing at the back) which i had my mid life crisis with. its lowered 40mm, ST24 alloys, a full janspeed exhaust system and a K&N induction kit, so it sounds nice and shifts pretty good.
it beats the crappy GM van i drive (ford gearbox's are sweet and cant be beat IMO)

and i know exactly what you mean about them seeing the kit, exactly the same for me and any mates that ive invited over.
the only time ive felt "geeky" about telling anyone about LFS was when i was chatting to a guy on my round.(im a postie).
he owns a small car dealership and races locally driving a modified toyota MR2. i got the impression he wasnt too impressed when i told him i race online.
